Marketing strategy to increase ticket sales for the International IT Conference.
Increasing online ticket sales for the International IT Conference «Stachka» up to 80% in 3 months.
Reduction of the funding and shared responsibility for organizing and holding the conference (different focus areas were coordinated by different companies) made the task more complicated. Potential participants considered «Stachka» an event one could attend for free. To achieve the goal, our team used contextual advertising, e-mail marketing, SMM and targeting. Having analyzed the current situation and the peculiarities of the potential audience, we also carried out flash mobs, cross-promotion, and online giveaways.
As a result, in 2016 sales increased by 10%, the number of registered participants exceeded 5.000 people, and «Stachka» itself became one of the key events for the entire city.
